Each card’s code is associated with a subject in the project where it was created, so it won’t identify the intended subject in a different project. If you accidentally use Camera Cards from another Snapizzi project, you can still organize your photos without reshooting.
To fix this, reset the photos in the affected project, upload them again with scanning disabled, and use the Keyframe Repair Tool to assign the photographed cards to the correct subjects.

Before You Begin
Make sure you have:
The original image files, including all photographed Camera Cards.
The correct subject list in the project where you want to organize the photos.
The Camera Card photos mark where each subject’s photo series begins, so include them when you upload again.
1. Reset the Photos in the Affected Project
Confirm that your original image files are available on your computer, then reset the project’s photos. Resetting first lets you start again with scanning disabled and avoids adding duplicate images to the existing upload.
2. Upload All Images Again with Scanning Disabled
Disable scanning, then upload the complete shoot again, including the Camera Card photos. Keep the images in the correct shooting sequence so each Camera Card photo is followed by that subject’s photos.
Disabling scanning prevents Snapizzi from trying to use the codes from the other project during this upload.
3. Assign Subjects with the Keyframe Repair Tool
Once the upload is complete:
Open the Keyframe Repair Tool.
Select a photographed Camera Card.
Assign it to the correct subject in the current project.
Repeat for the other Camera Card photos, then complete the repair process.
The tool uses your assignments to place the associated photos into the correct subject galleries.
4. Review the Results
Check the subject galleries after completing the repairs. Confirm that each subject’s photos are assigned correctly, especially where one subject’s series ends and the next begins.
Preventing This on Your Next Shoot
Generate Camera Cards from the project you will use for that shoot. Every Camera Card includes a timestamp, which helps you confirm that you’re using the correct project and version of the cards based on when they were printed.
Before photographing, check the project information and timestamp—especially if you have multiple sets of cards or have printed an updated set.
