Navigating large image galleries should feel natural, whether you're using a traditional mouse or a laptop trackpad.

Gallery Scroll Lock lets you enable or disable scroll wheel navigation within Snapizzi's subject and group galleries, giving you greater control over how you move through images while reviewing your work.

Control Gallery Scrolling

Control Gallery Scrolling

Gallery Scroll Lock allows you to turn mouse wheel and trackpad scrolling on or off while viewing galleries.

When enabled, simply use your mouse wheel or swipe on your trackpad to move through gallery images.

When disabled, scrolling behaves normally without changing the active image.

This flexibility allows photographers to choose the navigation style that best fits their workflow.

Gallery Scroll Lock supports both traditional scroll wheels and modern multi-touch trackpads.

Whether you're working from a desktop workstation or reviewing galleries on a laptop, navigation remains smooth and consistent across devices.

Prevent Accidental Navigation

Prevent Accidental Navigation

During gallery reviews, it's easy to unintentionally move between images with a slight movement of the scroll wheel or trackpad.

Gallery Scroll Lock allows photographers to disable this behavior whenever they prefer, reducing accidental image changes while working.

Designed for Faster Gallery Reviews

High-volume photographers often review hundreds or thousands of images throughout the day.

Having control over how galleries respond to scrolling makes image review more comfortable while reducing interruptions caused by unintended navigation.

Small usability improvements like Gallery Scroll Lock help create a smoother workflow during busy production periods.

Part of a Better Viewing Experience

Gallery Scroll Lock works alongside other navigation features such as View Mode, Project Search Pages, and Studio Search Pages to make browsing large photography projects faster and more intuitive.

Together, these workflow improvements reduce unnecessary clicks while helping photographers stay focused on reviewing and organizing their work.

We're continually improving Snapizzi with features that make everyday photography workflows faster, smoother, and easier to use.
