High-volume photography workflows involve a lot of moving parts. There’s project data to prepare, Camera Cards to generate, photos to process, issues to review, and finished work to publish or export.
Snapizzi brings those steps together into a single workflow. But even when everything is in one place, there can still be one simple question:
What should I do next?
The new Project Smart Button is designed to answer it.
At the top of the Project Dashboard, you’ll now see a green button that automatically changes based on the current status of your project.
Rather than searching through the Project Dashboard to determine which tool you need next, Snapizzi looks at where you are in the workflow and puts the next recommended action right in front of you.
Depending on the project, the Smart Button may direct you to actions such as:
Upload CSV
Edit CSV
Get Camera Cards
Upload Photos
Photo Manager
Other steps needed to move the project forward
Complete one step, and the Smart Button updates as the project progresses.
You don’t have to memorize the entire Snapizzi workflow to know what comes next.
The Project Smart Button doesn’t change how Snapizzi works or introduce another workflow you have to learn.
It makes the existing workflow easier to navigate.
Your Project Dashboard already gives you access to the tools you need throughout a project. The Smart Button uses the current state of that project to surface the action that makes sense next.
That can be particularly useful when you’re returning to a project after some time away—or when you’re still learning your way around Snapizzi.
Instead of remembering exactly where you left off, look for the green button.
The Smart Button is a shortcut, not a restriction.
All of the individual tools on the Project Dashboard remain available, so you can still go directly to the part of your project you want to work on.
Need to return to Photo Management? Go there.
Want to get another copy of your Camera Cards? The regular tool is still available.
Need to run Diagnose & Remedy? You can open it directly.
The Smart Button simply gives you another option: follow the next recommended action without having to find it yourself.
We’ve also been improving the way new users experience Snapizzi.
New accounts now include a sample project with photos already loaded, making it possible to begin exploring Snapizzi without first building a project from scratch.
The Project Smart Button complements that experience by helping guide users through the project as they explore.
Combined with the contextual Show Tips tours available throughout Snapizzi, new users can learn the workflow while actually working with a project rather than having to learn everything beforehand.
Experienced users get the same benefit: fewer clicks and a faster way to pick up where they left off.
